OurWorld: BorderLine app for iPhone and iPad

OurWorld: BorderLine is the new app in the geography series. These geography apps have a similar look, and are both entertaining and educational. The focus of BorderLine is on neighboring countries that share a land border. There is a section on facts, which gives a list of the countries that border a specific country (and shows the countrys flag and capital city), a link to a map of the region (showing the capital of the country), and a link to Wikipedias website for that particular country. There is also a quiz section that asks questions related to cities, countries and continents, the number of countries that share a land border with a specific country, and picking out countries that border other countries. These apps are designed to make learning about world geography interesting and entertaining. Most of the content is contained within the app (accessing maps and Wikipedias website require internet access, but the quizzes and the list of bordering countries do not).

The quizzes are a great way to test knowledge of capitals, countries and continents. This app generates an endless supply of quiz questions based on the topic of land borders. The questions are multiple choice, and are designed to be challenging. Quiz scores for questions about each category are recorded separately.

This app contains no ads. We have a free geography app (OurWorld) that can be downloaded to see the types of educational apps we develop... OurWorld (the free app) generates quiz questions based on demographic information about various countries and territories. OurWorld: BorderLine only contains information about sovereign states that share a land border with another sovereign state. We will be releasing a few more geography apps that focus on other topics...and generate different types of quiz questions.

OurWorld: BorderLine has been tested on iOS 4.0 and above. It also works on earlier versions (3.1 and above).
